"Flow" - New album available
I'm happy to announce the release of the third modlys album, entitled "Flow". It's a further development of direction started with the second album "Knæfald"; a punchier and more clubby sound, some quite energetic stuff and some very meditative, almost still-standing atmospheres, apart from the mid-tempo, dreamy/groovy electronica that's the core of the modlys sound.
Flow was written, recorded and produced during the month of February, 2010, as part of the RPM Challenge.

Modlys got mentioned in the Linux Journal, under "Music Made With Linux".Modlys is a duet consisting of Atte Andre Jensen and his wife Britt Dencker Jensen. Atte composes with the Linux version of Renoise, with help from various other pieces of Linux audio software. His musical talents are impressive, and his unique harmonies and synthesized sounds provide the perfect foil for Britt's equally impressive vocal talents (she's a great singer). Keeping in the mood of the season, Atte released a series of pieces written for Advent, all of which are available on the Modlys site. This duo's music is very professionally performed and recorded, and I'm eager to hear what comes next from them.
